Nel 2011 traduce dall'inglese per la Rizzoli la graphic novel Habibi di Craig Thompson, e nel 2013 sempre per la Rizzoli traduce dall'arabo Il favoloso viaggio di Ibn Battuta di Fatima Shrafeddine/ illustrazioni di Intilaq Muhammad Ali. Ha collaborato con vari periodici italiani (l'Espresso, Internazionale) e testate online (Vita.it, InsideOver) sui temi dell'immigrazione e dell'integrazione.
