Paradigm Shift: Embracing Neurodiversity | Malhar Cholke | TEDxYouth@EuroSchoolKharadi

Malhar Cholke, delivers a powerful message that challenges perceptions about neurodiversity. Through a personal story of discovery, he shares how an encounter with a girl on the autism spectrum—and his own journey to understand her—opened his eyes to a new perspective. Drawing wisdom from science and empathy, Malhar introduces the audience to the idea of embracing different ways of thinking as a strength, not a flaw. With clarity, compassion, and curiosity well beyond his years, he urges us to shift our mindset and create a world that celebrates every unique mind.At just 8 years old, Malhar Cholke is already making a mark as a TEDx host, student leader, and achiever. As the youngest host on the TEDx platform, he has confidently engaged audiences while excelling in academic and cultural events both within school and beyond. His passion for swimming, reading, and drawing fuels his curiosity and creativity. Beyond his achievements, Malhar is deeply compassionate and socially aware, always willing to take accountability in challenging situations. He firmly believes that age is no barrier to making a difference—with creativity, determination, and a strong sense of purpose, even the youngest minds can inspire change. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
