無聲世界的溝通力量 | 江韻琪 Kong Wan Ki | TEDxHSUHK
In this talk, KK will explore how the philosophy of "wuwei" has shaped her journey in bridging the gap between the deaf and hearing communities. She will highlight the uniqueness of sign language and discuss how society can become more inclusive for the deaf. Her inspiring story will challenge us to rethink communication, break down barriers, and foster genuine connections in an increasingly diverse world. Kong Wan Ki, KK was born deaf and has been living in a silent world ever since. She uses a “wuwei” (non-action) approach to face everyday challenges. KK is the cofounder of the Hong Kong Sign Language Association, a grassroots organization which advocates for the use of Hong Kong Sign Language and offers various educational outreach programs as well as training for would-be sign language interpreters. Because sign language is still relatively unknown in Hong Kong, KK is committed to sharing sign language and deaf culture through various medium, such as paintings, designs, and videos.
