Sotto la sua guida, ESA ha lanciato iniziative trasformative nella pianificazione strategica, nella gestione dei rischi aziendali e nella gestione della conoscenza, che hanno stabilito parametri di riferimento del settore. Nominato Chief Climate and Sustainability Officer nel 2021, guida l’implementazione delll’Agenda verde dell’ESA, allineando le attività dell’agenzia agli Accordi di Parigi e al Green Deal europeo, promuovendo pratiche di sostenibilità in tutto il settore spaziale.
Appassionato di innovazione, Andrea sostiene il ruolo delle tecnologie spaziali nell’affrontare le sfide climatiche globali e il valore dell’esplorazione spaziale per il futuro dell’umanità sulla Terra.
