// Silvia takes us on a private and deep journey, and tells us how she has found a new courage: not only of fighting for others, but also looking at herself, taking off her own armor and finding herself again. She had been living extraordinary experiences, meeting brave women and telling us their stories, then at a certain point something “didn’t ‘fit’ anymore, not even by force”: she realized she was no longer able to listen to her own desires, accept her own fragility, or slow down. With her speech she talks about how she has transformed her life without really up-ending it, but by living in a different way, with open eyes and a renewed heart, to rediscover herself even more passionate about everything that has always been there. She has learned how to ask for help, to open up to others, and to celebrate the little moments of happiness. She is showing us that, even in complexity and disorientation you can see new ways, find yourself again, and start over, maybe not on your own: walking together is nicer.
