Maciej Kochański is the Director of the Marketing and Public Relations Office at the University of Opole and the Rector’s Representative for Student Affairs. Since 2019, he has been teaching courses at the Faculty of Political Science and Social Communication at the University of Opole, covering topics such as press advocacy, PR project management, people management, and advertising campaigns.He is a CEO, trainer, teacher, and passionate social activist. His areas of interest primarily include communication, public relations, task force management, and the creation and leadership of creative teams. From a young age, he has actively supported numerous non-governmental organizations, gaining experience in managing non-profit entities. He is a practitioner who seeks validation for his theories in academic literature.In 2015-2016, he served as a member of the Executive Council, spokesperson for the Parliament of Students of the Republic of Poland, and Chair of the Promotion and Information Committee of PSRP.Since 2017, he has been collaborating with the Continuing Education Center at the University of Opole, delivering courses on public speaking, leadership development, and task force management.Additionally, since January 2017, he has been a Member of the Council of the Institute for the Development of Social Competencies based in Warsaw, through which he has conducted numerous training sessions and lectures for student councils and youth organizations. He enjoys learning and is always looking for opportunities to meet new people. He is a budding photographer, as well as being an avid reader and also working on paper-craft, namely quilling. He values his academics and his extra-curricular, which is why he practices badminton and cricket. His favorite subject areas include math, science, and history.
