From a village without electricity or roads to creating transformative initiatives, Armstrong Pame’s journey is a remarkable tale of perseverance and impact. Armstrong Pame, an IAS officer from the 2009 batch of the Manipur cadre, is renowned for building the "People's Road," a 100 km route funded through crowdsourcing, which is now National Highway 137. A Physics graduate from St. Stephen's College and a Transformational Leadership alumnus from Oxford and Harvard, he has received numerous awards, including India's Most Eminent IAS Officer Award. Nel 2011 traduce dall'inglese per la Rizzoli la graphic novel Habibi di Craig Thompson, e nel 2013 sempre per la Rizzoli traduce dall'arabo Il favoloso viaggio di Ibn Battuta di Fatima Shrafeddine/ illustrazioni di Intilaq Muhammad Ali. Ha collaborato con vari periodici italiani (l'Espresso, Internazionale) e testate online (Vita.it, InsideOver) sui temi dell'immigrazione e dell'integrazione.
