貼近建築的風景
出生在臺南,那是一個被鉛筆與描圖紙圍繞的環境,房子是日式的木造房屋和鋼筋混凝土所構成的家族住宅,在那個地方我同時也接觸到了個最初級的建築相關元素,譬如音樂繪畫雕刻…等等。而當我真正進入了建築的真實世界,就可以逐步地分析試驗這些和建築的相關關係,而連結這些美好的喜歡的事物,並成為追求建築的過程。

拉哈曼尼諾夫的第2號鋼琴協奏曲,幾乎就是奇美博物館的架構,從國道1號或3號轉入86號道路而下,被橙色拱橋所包圍著是一個傳統而優美的旋律,而實際上這個基地的前身就是一片甘蔗田,單調而平坦地吸取大地的資源,而甜美的味道隨著人為的介入,形成的高低起伏的地形與大理石塊,並轉化成為人心靈的美感。而這些改變在實際則目的上,更期待能夠反映環境的變化與未來,藉由水域的開發來提供博物館一個避免水患的安全環境,並且讓人暫時能忘卻外界庸擾的嘈雜。
閱讀在當今的時代,已逐漸成為遙遠的習慣,然而這個累積和認知世界的捷徑,仍然是人類變成文明動物的方法,圖書館是提供這種行為的最佳場域,
不論是紙張所構成的書本,或是電子符號所累積的數位資料,均可在圖書館做最完善而且詳盡的搜尋與享用,而我們除了外表象徵性的符號--書頁之外 ,我們更想要表達的是單純的方盒子可以儲存多少的智慧?除了繁華富麗之外,單純可以產生多少美感?很幸運的這個小小的方盒竟然有人選為網路上臺灣10個美麗的房子之一。
當我們居住在一個有神關照的場域,我們要如何呼應此中氛圍,企圖讓一個空間藉由陽光的角度,植物的生長,空氣的流動等等屬於非人所創造的元素,進入人為的空間並以此對話,藉此是否能夠喚起向善的知覺,九蓮禪寺和左鎮上教會,是我們嘗試想要接近的方法。
對一個在自己家鄉開業的建築師,我們受到太多親人和朋友的照顧,而這些也會給我們適度的壓力,讓我們必須考量到周圍的人的真實反映,至少我們的建築必須給人感到舒適,這是最基本的要求。而隨著時代的演進,我想我們更應甚至是該探索建築與相關的音樂繪畫美食植物甚至是風光水月與大地人文的關係,來塑造一個更美的環境。 This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Inês Narciso has a master's degree in Criminology from the University of Leicester and is a PhD candidate in Sociology at ISCTE-IUL.
