At first, he despised the idea of volunteering. To him, it was nothing more than an excuse—a way for the girl he liked to turn him down. But in an attempt to impress her, he decided to give it a chance. That single decision changed everything.What started as a simple effort to win someone over became a journey toward something much greater. Volunteering filled a void he never even realized existed. With every experience, he found himself more motivated—not just to help others, but to grow personally.He once believed happiness came from fun and distractions, but through volunteering, he discovered something deeper. He had never truly known happiness until he gave volunteering a chance. And perhaps, others should too! Jean-Paul is a second-year computer science student with a strong passion for volunteering.
