Stepping Up: What It Takes to Speak in Public | Sithea Kewin Phlong | TEDxCIA First Intl School

The talk under the title "Stepping Up: What It Takes to Speak in Public" guides listeners through tried-and-tested methods that will make them a confident, effective, and impactful speaker. By experimenting and applying various techniques through class presentations, assembly speeches, and even a TEDx event, Kewin’s experience will serve as a reasonable basis in leaving a positive impact on listeners, paving the way for powerful public speakers and impactful speeches. Kewin is a 10th grader from CIA FIRST International School who finds passion in cars, photography, and public speaking. Having seen many great talks throughout his life, he hopes to share his experiences and share what it takes to speak in public, hoping to shape greater speakers and greater talks. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
