Da giovane laureato si è formato a Roma alla Scuola di Psicoterapia Umanistico Esistenziale e Analisi Bioenergetica. Studioso di ipnosi e di suggestionabilità, da 30 anni si dedica alla ricerca e alla didattica in Psicologia e Psichiatria, e si prende cura quotidianamente della salute mentale di chi ne ha bisogno. È Ricercatore di Psichiatria all’Università degli Studi di Messina e Presidente della sezione siciliana della Società Italiana di Psichiatria. Crede che la ricerca per la conoscenza sia la via verso la libertà interiore dai condizionamenti culturali e dagli automatismi mentali, per ampliare la coscienza di se stessi nel mondo come persone uniche e irripetibili.
