Rewriting the Narrative: What lawyers really do? | Aman Dutta | TEDxILSLaw

His TEDx Talk, “Rewriting the narrative: What lawyers really do?” challenges the widespread scepticism surrounding lawyers, questioning whether their reputation stems from reality or societal conditioning. It explores the delicate balance between moral justice and legal justice, emphasizing how public perception often distorts the true role of legal professionals. Aman Vijay Dutta is a dedicated arbitration law advocate with a deep passion for philosophy and history. With over 8 years of legal experience, he has carved out a niche in arbitration, combining rigorous trial court expertise with a thorough understanding of dispute resolution mechanisms. We are very proud to share that he is an alumnus of ILS Law College, Pune, and has worked with leading law firms before establishing his own chambers in 2019. In just six years, his Chambers have set new benchmarks in arbitration and commercial litigation. His commitment to advancing legal education led him to found the School of Arbitration and Trial Law. Through its programs, he equips young lawyers with skills that enhance trial practice and the justice system in India. His recent work as the author of The Handbook of Domestic Arbitration serves as a cornerstone for practitioners and scholars alike, offering comprehensive insights into arbitration procedures in India. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
