Ian Serra is a sustainability expert with a strong background in environmental research, innovation, and project coordination across both public and private sectors. Since 2022, he has been working at Andorra Recerca + Innovació, a public-sector foundation focused on generating knowledge and creating innovative solutions for today’s and tomorrow’s challenges. As a Sustainability Technician, he has led and contributed to a wide range of impactful projects.
Among his most notable work is the technical coordination of Andorra’s Biosphere Reserve candidacy, including governance planning, stakeholder management, research, communications, and editorial direction. He also played a key role in initiatives like the MIT City Science Lab collaboration, coordinating workshops and projects on circular economy and food waste reduction.
