It calls for heightened awareness, collaboration, and innovation in safeguarding critical infrastructure and protecting democratic values in the modern age.Maj Gen M Indrabalan retired as former Chief of Staff at HQ Dakshin Bharat Area, has a distinguished military career spanning 37 years. The General officer was active in Kargil War 1999, counter insurgency operations in J&K, High Alititude area of Ladhak, Thar deserts of Rajasthan and moutains of of NE regions and jungles of Africa. He holds BSc, B.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, and an M.Phil degree and is alumnus of the National Defence Academy Kadakvasala and IIT Kharagpur. He is ardent sportsman and adventure lover, and was a member of an around the world off shore sailing expedition in 1989.In his new avatar, he is a social entrepreneur, tech developer, start-up investor, theatre curator and motivational speaker. Currently, as Chairman Aeronero Solutions he is developing emerging technology to generate potable water from atmosphere. He also advises two leading Indian Drone companies on letal and non-lethal military applications This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
