The resilience in ice hockey and the spirit of olympism | Hehao XU | TEDxTHU

Resilience is less of a gift, more of the persistence. On the ice, each spin is born from numerous falls, and every bit of confidence stems from countless setbacks. However, falls leads to balance, and pressure turns into strength. In this talk, XU Hehao explores the critical concept of resilience through the lens of ice hockey and the Olympic spirit. Drawing from his own experiences, he illustrates how the physical and mental challenges of ice hockey cultivate perseverance, mental toughness, and the importance of pushing through setbacks. 许訸昊,清华大学体育部教师,清华大学苏世民书院第六届学者;中国冰球国家级运动健将。Xu Hehao (Bob),faculty of Tsinghua University Division of Sports Science and Physical Education, 6th Cohort Schwarzman Scholar; A National Athlete for Ice Hockey. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
