How to save the world without feeling overwhelmed | Lizi Lomidze | TEDxYouth@TbilisiGreenSchool

In this TEDx talk, the speaker reflects on the overwhelming desire to "save the world" and the reality that large-scale change can feel impossible. They emphasize that true progress comes not from one person doing everything, but from many people taking small actions. The talk encourages focusing on one issue, using everyday skills to make an impact, and joining forces with others. Through personal stories and examples the speaker highlights how collective small efforts can lead to significant change. The key message: Together, our small actions can create big, lasting change. Lizi is a 16-year-old student at Green School – Forest Campus. She is an environmental activist and a volunteer. She leads many projects both in and outside of school because she is passionate about helping her community. She wants to inspire others to take action for a better future and believes that even small efforts can make a big difference. In her free time, Lizi enjoys listening to music, meeting new people, and exploring new places. She is actively involved in climate action and ecological issues. Her volunteer work focuses on youth empowerment. She believes that today’s teenagers are tomorrow’s decision-makers and everyone has a role in creating a better world.
