The Power of Going Solo | Ely Boulos | TEDxAIS Ajaltoun Youth

Through personal stories — including a defining Model United Nations experience — Ely challenges the belief that we need validation from others to make bold moves. She invites us to step beyond our comfort zones, embrace solitude, and discover how going solo can unlock true growth, deeper connections, and our highest potential. This TED talk explores the power of stepping out of our comfort zones and embracing the opportunity to go solo. I share personal experiences such as a Model United Nations conference, to challenge the idea that we need others to validate our choices. I hope to inspire the audience to break free from societal expectations and take bold steps on their own, showing how moments of solitude can lead to personal growth, stronger connections, and the achievement of our fullest potential. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
