The Power of Believing in Yourself | Antonio Soler | TEDx Dublin | Antonio Soler | TEDxDublin Salon

Exploring through his very own real life experience, Antonio Soler says that believing in yourself could take you anywhere, regardless of your background. While it might take some time and ups and downs, you can achieve anything by believing you will ultimately make it. In Antonio's case, he got a full time scholarship to pursue an MBA, a Master's degree and a bachelor's degree. He is also the first member of his family to attend university. Antonio says to use your background as your engine, as your advantage. Don't let your background hold you back. Antonio grew up with no father, the youngest of five. His mother is a cleaner. And still, he was able, through scholarships, to attend the best education around the world; Johns Hopkins business school for an MBA, University College Dublin for a Master's degree in international relations and a bachelor's degree in international business. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF ALWAYS MAKE YOUR BACKGROUND YOUR BIGGEST FUEL. Antonio Soler is an MBA graduate of the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School and holds a Bachelor's degree in international business, a Graduate Diploma in Public Policy from the Superior School of Public Administration ESAP, and a Master's degree in Politics and International Relations from University College Dublin. Antonio's specialisms include international business, public policy, economics, finance, management, business administration, marketing, and digital marketing and communication strategies. Antonio has a strong understanding and experience of the practice and standards of strategy, marketing, sales, finance, and operations in large, diverse, and complex organizations in the private sector, where he worked for multinationals such as Teleperformance, Nestlé, and ICON plc., and in the government and not-for-profit sectors at University College Dublin, the United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs, and the Ministry of Education of the Government of Colombia. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
