“I giovani non sanno cosa significa…”
“I giovani non leggono più…”Ma chi sono questi “giovani”? Sono davvero tutti così?Durante la mia carriera da comico e content creator ho ideato e costruito una moltitudine di
personaggi nei quali gli spettatori potessero riconoscere se stessi, un amico, un parente, un
conoscente…Questi personaggi, protagonisti di molti dei miei video, sono frutto di un’attenta osservazione di questi “giovani” di cui tanto si parla. E una cosa che ho capito è che questi “giovani” non sono tutti uguali, anzi, le diverse sfumature che contraddistinguono ognuno di loro sono spesso il loro punto di forza. In questo talk rifletteremo sull’importanza di cogliere e apprezzare le sfumature nostre e di chi ci circonda. Thomas Asueni è nato il 10 febbraio 2000 a Treviso, ha frequentato l’università a Bologna dove si è laureato nel 2022 in Economics and Finance. Appassionato di sport, è diventato nel 2024 ambasciatore social del running secondo Runners World di cui è stato protagonista nella cover di settembre. A gennaio 2020 carica il primo video su TikTok e da lì inizia il suo percorso sui social con un format che lo ha fatto conoscere in tutta Italia: video ironici sugli stereotipi delle persone. Un format all’avanguardia che ancora genera grandi interazioni. Nel 2021 inizia a sperimentare altri format: pov, sketch comici e, verso fine anno, le prime interviste. Il suo sogno è quello di fare il conduttore, ama stare davanti al pubblico e interagire con le persone. Nel 2022 si trasferisce a Milano dove prendono vita una serie di format iconici, come per esempio “non pensarci troppo”, “60 secondi di verità con” e “capiamo show” con Gioele Arreghini. They are united by their youthful energy and love for writing original music. Free from the constraints of musical styles, they combine different musical genres, but most often, as they say, they are drawn to modern variants of rock 'n' roll. Let us introduce you to the UM & KUNA Freestyle Show – a unique experience in Slovenia where words, freestyle rap, and improvisational theatre become one. UM & KUNA create rhymes in real time, on a topic chosen by you – the audience! Visitors were in for an evening of surprises, creativity, and fresh rhymes, accompanied by DJ L.T. who took care of the background music.For the first time on the TEDxLjubljana stage, we introduced this exceptional improvisational music performance that took visitors into a world they helped co-create.At the event, we asked the visitors, “Which word best describes the energy of TEDxLjubljana today?” They had to write down only one word or phrase. Answers were sent through the Mentimeter platform which displayed them on the stage screen in real time. UM & KUNA Freestyle Show chose a few of them and created a meaningful improvisational rap.
