Leadership lessons from 650 miles of walking | Boris Trupčević | TEDxZagreb
After realizing that being overwhelmed by information is a choice we all make for ourselves, Boris Trupčević decided to start walking. The Camino de Santiago took him on a journey of creative ideas, life achievements, and freedom from the information bubble. Join him as he shares his experience, which he fondly calls “the miracle of walking and not thinking.” Media expert Boris Trupčević has become the most well-known pilgrim among Croatian managers after he "left everything" to walk the path from France to the Atlantic, publishing a widely-followed daily diary on social media. Trupčević was a long-time editor-in-chief and CEO of 24sata, Croatia's most-read and highest-circulating daily newspaper, the director of Styria Media Group for Croatia, and the president of the Croatian Association of Newspaper Publishers.
With 24sata, he won more than one hundred international media awards and recognitions, competing with the most respected media outlets in the world. During his career, he also served as CEO of Večernji list, publishing director of Sanoma Magazines Zagreb (later Adria Media), editor-in-chief of Story magazine, and a journalist and editor at Jutarnji list.
He was a member of the board of directors in several European and global publishing associations, including the International News Media Association.
