From Government to People: The new space age | Shiven Daniel Sheth | TEDxYouth@ASM

Space exploration is no longer just a government race—it’s becoming a new frontier for private innovation. In this talk, Daniel unpacks the shift from national missions to commercial collaboration in space. He explores how this transformation opens the door to sustainable exploration, cutting-edge technologies, and entrepreneurial opportunities. This is the new space age—and it’s not just for astronauts. Daniel Sheth is a 12th-grade student who has lived in Spain for six years. With plans to study mechanical engineering, he is passionate about innovation and the future of space exploration. Daniel works as an analyst at the space venture capital firm E2MC, where he researches pioneering companies that are reshaping how we engage with space. His deep interest in science, technology, and the intersection of policy drives his long-term ambition to work in the space industry. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
