- 9:18Navigating Independence | Iva Ivanova | TEDxYouth@ACSofiaThis speech talks about how responsibility isn’t something you get when you turn 18—it’s something you learn through your actions and choices. The speaker shares their own experience of living alone as a teenager and how it taught them to take care of themselves, manage their time, and be more independent. At first, they thought freedom meant doing whatever they wanted, but they soon realized that real independence means being responsible, even when no one is watching. The message is that teenagers can be responsible, and that growing up isn’t about age—it’s about learning from your mistakes and taking charge of your life now, not later.
