Finding Purpose through Pain | Chloe Brooke | TEDxUWCLPC Youth
Taking 15 pills a day, 105 a week, and 5475 a year, just to be able to stand on the TEDxUWCLPC Youth stage. In this talk, Chloe Brooke spoke about her challenges and the power of creative expression in helping her cope. The arts allowed her to spread awareness and kindness through her journey, inspiring others along the way. Chloe Brooke was born in the Philippines and currently lives in Hong Kong. Being ethnically Filipino, Chinese, and British has fostered her curiosity for the world's cultural diversity. In LPC, Chloe is a Peer Supporter who listens to and supports her fellow students. She is also a leader in Working with Domestic Workers and African Drumming. Chloe is a lupus advocate and educates those around her through conversations and events. Her free-spirited personality stems from her theatrical background, as she has performed in Shouson theatre, participated in Arts In The Park, and written spoken word about climate change for HKYAF. Chloe is passionate about creating content for her Instagram (@ochloi) and her YouTube channel (Chloe Brooke). She never misses an opportunity to express herself or to crack a dad joke. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
