Il focus della sua ricerca è l'impatto acustico di origine antropica e i suoi effetti sui cetacei del Santuario "Pelagos". E qualificata, dalla World Cetacean Alliance, come Guida Responsabile di Whale Watching per i turisti su imbarcazioni adibite al whale watching. Ricopre il ruolo di Responsabile del Dipartimento Biodiversità dell'European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability (ElIS). E' la Marine Wildlife Expert (Esperta Megafauna Marina) del WWF Italla e Responsabile Scientifica del progetto Vele del Panda del WWF Travel.
