Lo spazio sembra lontano, ma è già parte della nostra vita quotidiana: dai satelliti che migliorano comunicazioni e meteo, alle missioni che studiano la Luna e difendono la Terra dagli asteroidi. In questo talk scoprirai come lo spazio ispira, innova e ci prepara al futuro, tra scienza, tecnologia e un pizzico di fantasia. Un viaggio emozionante che dimostra che il cosmo non è poi così distante da noi. Ha conseguito una Laurea in Ingegneria Meccanica, un Dottorato in Ingegneria dei Materiali e una Laurea triennale in Ingegneria Navale. Dal 2007 lavora presso l'Agenzia Spaziale Italiana, nell'Ufficio "Esplorazione e infrastrutture orbitanti". È stato Project Manager di missioni scientifiche (LARES 2) e per lo sviluppo di strumenti per Esplorazione del Sistema Solare, in particolare di Marte, Luna e asteroidi (tra questi, DREAMS e MaMISS per ESA Exomars). Rappresentante ASI a vice-chair all' International Space Exploration Coordination Group e Delegato all' "Exploration and Utilization Board" di ESA. È referente ASI per la collaborazione con il Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute di NASA.
