Decide to Stop Deciding | Michelle Li | TEDxTAMS Youth

Life is a series of choices, both big and small, that shape who we become. However, not every decision is black and white. When faced with a fork in the road, it’s not always about choosing one path over another—it’s about creating a new one. Learning to blend passions, like technology and the arts, can lead to a fulfilling life that balances personal growth with giving back to others. By highlighting the power of creative intersections, this speech encourages embracing uncertainty and breaking free from rigid expectations. We have the power to create some new and meaningful. It’s not about choosing the right path, but rather creating and pursuing your own. Michelle Li is a junior at the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science with interests computer science, artificial intelligence, and business. She is currently conducting research on computer vision. Beyond academics, Michelle serves as a leader for various organizations and is a regular volunteer at women’s shelters. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
