AI & The Future of Human Intelligence | Assylay Kudyratulla | TEDxSapiens UP School Youth

In her talk, Assylai explores a bold and urgent question: Are we raising a less intelligent generation in the age of AI? With instant access to information, young people today don’t need to memorize facts—but does that mean they’re actually thinking less? Assylay is a first-year Business Management student from Kazakhstan. Assylay has a strong passion for public speaking. Assylay particularly is interested in how Artificial Intelligence (AI) influences human intelligence (IQ). She uses AI every single day—not just for academics but also as a coach, mentor, and even as a psychological aid. AI has become a key part of learning process, and she wants to explore whether it is enhancing human intelligence or making us too reliant on technology. Assylay's research will focus on AI’s impact on critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and overall IQ development. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
