Rejection Demands Reinvention | Imran Shah | TEDxYouth@ACJC

Mr Imran Shah, a pharmacist by training, spoke about his journey being the co-founder and captain of Alami Clinic. In this speech, he talks about how rejections from being unable to pursue medical school to challenges in geriatric health have led him to discoveries in his current work. Imran is a pharmacist with a deep passion for oncology and a vision for transforming the pharmacist’s role in Singapore’s healthcare landscape. Recently, he’s taken a step back from his work in a public hospital to build a geriatric clinic in the community. Despite the challenges of a startup, Imran thrives on innovation and the opportunity to build something valuable from the ground up. When he's not leading Alami Clinic, you’ll find him immersed in a fiction novel over lunch. And if you’re looking for a conversation, coffee is always a good way to catch him! This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
