What is "Something"? | Zayan Zamir | TEDxSharjah English School

A late-night thought spiraled into a deep dive into quantum physics. What is “something,” really? From atoms to energy fields, Zayan Zamir walks us through how everything around us is just patterns in an invisible cosmic ocean. Zayan Zamir is a National level Robotics competitor who sees his future in AI powered Robotics, with a deep passion for programming, engineering, fintech and space technology. A Year 9 student at Sharjah English School, with a special interest in Artificial Superintelligence (ASI), Zayan aims to drive technological innovations transforming problem-solving capabilities. One of Zayan’s research interests lies in integrating sustainability with space exploration by developing AI driven systems for autonomous spacecraft management, aiming to improve energy use and reduce waste. Outside his tech focus, he enjoys speedcubing and art. Zayan’s curiosity in metaphysics inspires his TEDx Talk “What is Something?” which fuels his exploration into the fundamental particles and forces that make up our universe. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
