Shahbaz Taseer shares his experiences of living in the shadow of extremism to shaping his life and re-adjusting to the society. Shahbaz Taseer, son of late Governor Punjab; Salman Taseer, is a well-known Pakistani businessman and author of 'Lost to the World.' In August 2011, Shahbaz’s life took a tragic turn when he was abducted by militants in Lahore. For nearly five years, he was held hostage in brutal conditions, enduring unimaginable hardship.
Since his escape, Shahbaz has become a voice for resilience and hope. He has turned his personal ordeal into a powerful story of survival and strength.
