Selma Uamusse released her debut album Mati in 2018, praised by critics and showcased on national and international stages with over 60 concerts. Mati unfolds as two journeys: a geographic one, rooted in Mozambican sounds and identity, and a spiritual exploration that infiltrates those who listen. In 2020, she released Liwoningo, blending African influences with global elements, from folklore to electronic, rock, Afrobeat, and experimental sounds. Selma’s music transcends genres; it’s a manifesto for harmony with the world around us, a positive look at the world. A form of struggle and hope for a freer society, with more love.
