Márcia Martins convida-nos a olhar para o Brasil menos conhecido — através das estações, da sabedoria dos povos indígenas e do valor invisível da natureza nativa. Nascida na Amazónia e formada nas grandes cidades, partilha o seu percurso pessoal entre dois mundos: a floresta e a metrópole, o tempo mítico e o tempo cronometrado.
Com um olhar critico sobre os limites da lei e do mercado, que valorizam mais uma árvore morta do que viva — ignorando o seu papel essencial no ciclo natural da vida. Um valor cultural, ecológico e económico ainda desvalorizado, mas fundamental para o futuro.
Márcia dissolve as fronteiras entre direito, sustentabilidade e cultura. Após uma carreira no setor financeiro e corporativo — como fundadora de um dos principais escritórios de advocacia do Brasil, o MMADVS, decidiu retribuir à terra que considera o lar da sua alma: a Floresta Amazónica. Parte da terceira geração de pioneiros na Amazónia brasileira, mas a primeira a desenvolver um modelo sustentável, cofundou a Ecoarts há 18 anos com a sua mãe e cinco irmãs, transformando-a num negócio socioambiental dedicado à sustentabilidade da floresta amazónica.Desde 2017, a Ecoarts tem-se focado em criar conexões com marcas internacionais de luxo que procuram abraçar a restauração florestal, através da interseção entre arte, sustentabilidade e advocacia em defesa da Amazónia e dos seus habitats. Este conceito inovador é chamado Advocaseed: Advocacia para o Futuro, que traz soluções sustentáveis para empresas e defende os direitos da natureza e das culturas ancestrais. After completing her primary and high school education at TED Ankara College, she entered the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at METU Faculty of Architecture. She moved to Istanbul during her master's degree and entered the media world. Gürses has written many articles and books on literature and culture. She has also given speeches at various conferences and seminars on Turkish literature and culture. Gürses began her media career as a reporter at ATV News Center and later appeared on programs such as "Gece Hattı" and "Kırmızı Koltuk" on Star TV. She worked as an editor and presenter on programs such as "20. Saat", "13 Agency", "Bıldıgın Gibi Değil" and "Burası Haftasonu" on Habertürk TV. She served as assistant news director and on-screen presenter on the "Ana Haber" program on Kanal 1.
