Pebbles to Waves: Small Actions, Big Change | Princess Ekwueme | TEDxStart Rite Schools Abuja

This presentation explores how even the smallest actions can shape the world in meaningful ways. Using the image of a pebble dropped into water, the Princess explains how every word, smile, or choice we make creates ripples that spread far and wide. She challenges the idea that one must be older or more powerful to make a difference. Through this talk, the speaker encourages everyone to ask, "How can I help?" and to believe that no effort is too small. When many people take small steps, their combined ripples can grow into powerful waves of change.Leadership, passion, and purpose define Princess Ekwueme, a dedicated student leader, debater, and writer from Lagos, Nigeria. Currently in Year 11 at Grange School, she serves as the Sports Prefect, balancing her love for academics with her commitment to athletics. As an active member of the Debate Club and the Student Representative Council, Princess has honed her skills in public speaking, earning the prestigious Star Speaker Award at the COBIS Debate.Beyond her accolades, Princess is fueled by a deep desire to inspire and uplift others.
