From caring for Dalgu to life lessons | Dongheon (Ethan) Kim | TEDxChadwick International School
Learning life lessons while caring for Dalgu. Ethan, a Grade 5 student will share a heart-touch talk, inspired by his love for his dog. After adopting his puppy, Dalgu, just three weeks ago, he discovered the powerful connection between behavior and dopamine, a neurotransmitter associated with pleasure and motivation. Through training Dalgu, he gained a deeper understanding of dopamine's effects, from its role in social media and video games to its impact on true love and companionship. His experience taught him that the joy of caring for someone or something you love far outweighs the temporary pleasure of digital media. He hopes to inspire others to seek deeper connections that bring lasting happiness and fulfillment.
