La ciencia abierta es el acceso, eficiente, transparente y beneficioso a la información, lo cual permite conocer y tomar decisiones a partir de los datos abiertos, los cuales se acercan más a la realidad teniendo en cuenta que son fuente de información de diferentes poblaciones que pueden llegar a ser más representativos y más cercanos a la realidad. Esta iniciativa que en muchos países es parte de políticas públicas, sigue siendo un reto para que los investigadores y las instituciones privadas compartan información logrando así el conocimiento transparente de decisiones o conductas que afectan a una población. Este tipo de acceso a la información, da paso a trabajo interdisciplinario, a la generación de diferentes preguntas de investigaciónneración y sobretodo a la generación de nuevo conocimiento, por ende a innovación.

He values his academics and his extra-curricular, which is why he practices badminton and cricket. His favorite subject areas include math, science, and history.
