Looks Aren't Real | Monika V | TEDxDSATM

This talk explores the idea that physical appearance is often misleading and does not reflect a person's true worth, character, or identity. It challenges societal standards of beauty and emphasizes that what we see on the outside—shaped by filters, fashion, media, or even bias—can distort reality. The speaker encourages the audience to look beyond appearances and value authenticity, inner qualities, and individual experiences over superficial judgments. As a passionate Computer Science Engineering undergraduate, I am on a mission to master the art of Full Stack Development. Currently honing my proficiency in front-end technologies, I am dedicatedly expanding my skill set to include robust back-end development. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
