Al-Falih: Saudi Arabia is one of major countries attracting foreign investment
Saudi Gazette report
MIAMI — Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih has said that Saudi Arabia is considered one of the major countries attracting foreign investment.
During a dialogue session within the Priority Summit organized by the Future Investment Initiative Foundation in the United States, Al-Falih said there are many indicators that must be highlighted, most notably the increase in the number of foreign investors in Saudi Arabia, which has reached 40,000 currently, up from 7,000 at the start of Vision 2030.
He explained that Saudi Arabia's GDP currently does not depend on oil and gas alone.
US President Donald Trump inaugurated the third edition of the Priority Summit organized by the Saudi Future Investment Initiative, under the title “Purpose-Driven Investing,” in Miami.
In his opening remarks, Trump thanked Saudi Arabia and its distinguished leadership, and reaffirmed that the golden age of the United States had officially begun.
“I thank everyone for coming, business leaders and distinguished guests from the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia and its distinguished leaders,” President Trump said. “I am honored to participate in the Saudi Future Investment Initiative Summit, and from this podium I officially announce the beginning of the golden age of the United States.”
