Tasreeh Platform launched to issue Hajj permit for pilgrims and Hajj workers to enter Makkah
Saudi Gazette report
RIYADH — The Ministry of Interior, in partnership with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), launched the unified digital platform for Hajj permits, called the Tasreeh Platform.
The platform is designed to issue licenses and permits that authorize holders of these permits, both domestic and international pilgrims, to enter Makkah and the holy sites. This is done through technical integration with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah via the Nusuk platform.
The platform also authorizes workers and volunteers involved in all Hajj activities, as well as the vehicles transporting them, to enter Makkah and the holy sites, with the ability to view permits through the comprehensive national application Tawakkalna.
The platform, developed by SDAIA in partnership with all government agencies involved in serving Hajj pilgrims, enhances technical integration between government and service agencies involved in Hajj. It also standardizes, organizes, and coordinates procedures during the Hajj season, in addition to contributing to providing high-quality services to Hajj pilgrims so they can perform their rituals in ease and comfort. This fulfills the objectives of the Doyof Al-Rahman Program, one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030.
The Tasreeh Platform, which enables security agencies at the entrances to Makkah to automatically read and verify permits via the Maidan application, is an advanced model for innovative technological solutions. It is also considered as a qualitative leap in the flexibility and speed of issuing licenses and permits through integration among the relevant agencies.
