Princess Reema: Trump's visit is a monumental moment for world peace

RIYADH — Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar emphasized that the Saudi-US alliance offers a renewed vision for the future based on strategic cooperation and promotion of shared interests.
Addressing the Saudi-US Investment Forum at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh on Tuesday, she noted that Saudi investments have created hundreds of thousands of jobs in the United States of America. Regarding US President Donald Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia, Princess Reema stated that the visit represents a monumental moment for global peace, security, and prosperity. "Saudi Arabia is working with its American partners to achieve peace and stability in Europe and beyond. Riyadh is ready to provide a neutral platform and fulfill its responsibility to support peace wherever possible," she said.
Princess Reema stated that the Kingdom is working to further bolster its strategic partnership with the United States, adding that the non-oil economy now contributes 50 percent of the Kingdom's real GDP. "The strong alliance between Saudi Arabia and the United States contributes to resolving global challenges, as the two countries cooperate to find solutions to the crises in Ukraine and Gaza, and to achieve stability in Syria and Sudan," the ambassador said while emphasizing that the Kingdom has played a pivotal role in leveraging its strategic location and resources to enhance regional and global security and sustainable partnerships based on the principle of reciprocity.
Riyadh is always striving to ensure reliable and affordable energy, Princess Reema said, while emphasizing Riyadh's commitment to achieving net-zero carbon neutrality through a circular economy model.
