Ministry of Education forms 425 community partnerships with SR653 million impact

— The Ministry of Education has announced the formation of more than 425 community partnerships, generating an estimated economic impact of over SR653 million, as part of its expanding commitment to social responsibility and volunteer initiatives.The announcement coincided with the Kingdom’s celebration of Saudi Social Responsibility Day, underscoring the ministry’s efforts to create impactful collaborations that benefit students and the wider community.
In 2024 alone, the ministry secured 403 partnerships through regional education departments, contributing to various national development objectives. An additional 22 strategic partnerships were launched at the national level, reinforcing its role in social and economic advancement. These initiatives collectively benefited more than 576,851 individuals by offering access to educational resources, professional training, and personal development programs.
Among the standout initiatives is a program providing education and vocational training for inmates, aimed at equipping them with skills to support reintegration into society. Another is “The Young Benefactor” program, which encourages generosity and community involvement among students from an early age.
The ministry also launched the Developmental Education Program, designed to bridge learning gaps in underserved schools. A dedicated scholarship initiative supports the children of martyrs, ensuring they receive quality education and necessary resources for future success.
