Al-Mudaifer named NEOM CEO after months as acting chief driving progress and efficiency
NEOM — The Board of Directors of NEOM has announced on Thursday the appointment of Eng. Aiman Al-Mudaifer as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and as a member of the Board.
NEOM is Saudi Arabia’s flagship sustainable giga-project under development in the northwest of the Kingdom.
Al-Mudaifer has served as Acting CEO since November 2024, focusing on operational continuity, driving efficiencies, and accelerating progress across NEOM’s strategic initiatives and development regions.
Bringing a wealth of experience from both public and private sectors, Al-Mudaifer previously led the Local Real Estate Investment Division at the Public Investment Fund (PIF) since 2018, overseeing major growth and transformation.
He also serves on the boards of several PIF portfolio companies.
The NEOM Board of Directors expressed full confidence in Al-Mudaifer’s leadership and the broader NEOM team to continue advancing the project’s vision and long-term success. — SG
