King Salman issues 14 royal decrees including new regional governors and senior officials

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued 14 royal decrees on Thursday, ordering a wide-ranging reshuffle of regional governors and top government officials.Among the key decisions, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz was appointed Emir of Jazan Region with the rank of Minister, succeeding Prince Mohammed bin Nasser, who was relieved of his duties.
Prince Nasser bin Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Jalawi was appointed Deputy Emir of Jazan with an excellent rank.
Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad Al Abdulrahman was appointed Deputy Emir of Al-Qassim Region with an excellent rank. He was also relieved from his position as a member of the Shoura Council.
In another significant change, Dr. Nasser Al-Dawood was relieved of his position as Deputy Minister of Interior and appointed Deputy Minister of the National Guard with the rank of Minister.
Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayaf Al Muqrin, the King's Special Advisor, was assigned to serve as Acting Deputy Minister of Interior.
Fahd Al-Askar was appointed Deputy Chief of the Royal Court with the rank of Minister, and Tamim Al-Salem was named Deputy Private Secretary to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques with the rank of Minister.
Prince Bandar bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz was appointed Advisor at the Royal Court with an excellent rank.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Tamimi was relieved from his post as Governor of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission and appointed as Governor of the National Emergency Management Authority with the rank of Minister.
Dr. Enas Al-Issa was appointed Deputy Minister of Education with an excellent rank.
Abdullah Zaqzouq was named Head of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s Private Affairs with an excellent rank, while Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Seif was appointed Advisor to the Minister of Defense for Intelligence Affairs, also with an excellent rank.
