Nammos Amala Resort to open soon with Saudi-Greek designs
Saudi Gazette report
TABUK — The Red Sea Development Company has announced the opening of the Nammos Amala resort this year, in partnership with Nammos Hotels & Resorts, which has chosen the destination for the group's first resort outside Greece, offering a unique experience in the region.
Located in the Triple Bay area of the Amaala destination, Nammos Amala features 110 sea-view rooms, 20 residential units, and a variety of amenities. Designed to blend Greek and Saudi aesthetics, the resort's exterior design is inspired by traditional Hijazi architecture, while its interiors reflect the Cycladic style of Mykonos.
Work continues the first master plan for the Amaala destination, which focuses on the development of Triple Bay. The resort is expected to welcome its first guests in 2025, with 1,400 rooms spread across eight resorts. In the future, Triple Bay will include 12 resorts and three residential communities.
Amaala will feature approximately 4,000 hotel rooms across 30 hotels, and approximately 1,200 residential villas, apartments, and luxury real estate units. AMAALA will also include a vibrant marina serving the global yachting community, as well as a wide range of upscale retail, fine dining, wellness centers, and entertainment facilities.
Located in the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Nature Reserve, Amaala places sustainability as a priority. Only 5% of the area will be used for development, while the rest will be conserved. This protects the region's diverse ecosystems and preserves local heritage and culture. The project will be powered by 100% renewable energy, and the city will be carbon-neutral, with no waste or landfill.
