Angelica Gismondo ci porta oltre la danza, la sua performance ci porterà nel cuore e nel viaggio di una ballerina che ha scelto la sua strada.
(Recorded at TEDxPordenone on May 10, 2025) Ad appena 13 anni ha lasciato la sua famiglia essendo stata selezionata dall’Accademia la Scala e subito dopo per studiare alla Scuola di Balletto dell’Opera di Roma. A seguire si è formata presso la prestigiosa Académie de danse PrincesseGrace a Monte Carlo.
La sua perseveranza, la sua bellezza e l’incredibile tecnica non sono passate inosservate e all’età di 22 anni è diventata prima ballerina del Balletto di Milano dove ha interpretato ed eseguito alcuni dei più bei pezzi di repertorio come “Bolero”, “Carmen”,”Shéhérazade” e “Anna Karenina”, che hanno segnato il suo debutto in Russia.
Ha viaggiato in tutto il mondo, esibendosi in tutta Europa, Africa, Sud America e Asia per oltre 8 anni.
Nel 2021 è stata invitata a fare il suo debutto al leggendario festival di Lajatico, “Teatro del Silenzio” accanto ad Andrea Bocelli. Da allora è andata in tournée con il Maestro Bocelli in tutta Europa, Australia, Regno Unito e Stati Uniti d’America.
