environnement bâti de qualité, Mme Hayatte Abderahim
Ndiaye est la première femme architecte au Tchad.
Diplômée en juin 2006 de l’Institut Supérieur d'Architecture Victor Horta de Bruxelles, Hayatte a commencé sa carrière d'architecte à Paris où elle a acquis une première expérience professionnelle au cabinet Architecture Studio. De retour au Tchad en 2009, Hayatte travaillera avec le Cabinet ATEPA sur les grands chantiers de l’Hôpital de la Mère et de l’Enfant, ainsi que celui de la Place de la Nation, avant de créer son cabinet Hayatt Architecture en 2011, dont le credo sera d’améliorer et impacter la qualité de vie des populations au Tchad. Membre du jury international de fin d’études de l’Ecole Africaine des Métiers de
l’Architecture et de l’Urbanisme (EAMAU), Hayatte intervient également régulièrement lors de diverses conférences. Elle est l’initiatrice de la conférence internationale « Habitat Durable au Sahel », dont la première édition s’est tenue en avril 2018 à N’Djaména.
En 2019, Hayatte entre à nouveau dans l’histoire lorsqu'elle est élue à la présidence de l’Ordre National des Architectes du Tchad (ONAT). Elle devient ainsi, la première femme à occuper ce poste. À la fin de la même année, elle organise à Ndjamena, la toute première Table Ronde d'Architecture sur le thème «Les villes africaines du futur», à laquelle une quinzaine de Présidents d’ordres d’architectes continentaux et internationaux prendront part. Sous l'égide de l'Assemblée Nationale, elle présidera en mars 2021, le jury du concours d’architecture pour la construction de la stèle mémorielle de Bohoma (Lac Tchad). Fréquemment interviewée dans les medias locaux et internationaux, elle partagera sa vision de la profession dans divers magazines dont les plus récents, la 2ème édition du
Africa Innovation Network (AIN), et contribuera à la parution de Construire au Sahel Aujourd’hui, (éditions Muséo), 2020, Architectural Guide (Sub-saharan Africa), DOM publishers, 2021, 100 women architects in practice, (Royal Institute of British Architects books), janvier 2024. Son engagement distinct visant à favoriser une culture de l'excellence dans l'architecture, lui a permis d'apporter une perspective nouvelle au rayonnement de la profession, et de concilier ses multiples rôles d'architecte, de pionnière et de présidente de l'ONAT. En juillet 2023, à l’issue d’une Assemblée Générale éléctive, qui a vu la participation de 135 pays à Copenhague, Hayatte Ndiaye, est élue membre du conseil de l’Union Internationale des Architectes, faisant entrer pour la première fois, le Tchad, à la plus haute instance de cette profession. Un mandat de 3 ans qui court jusqu’en 2026.
Depuis le 26 janvier 2024, elle est nommée conseillère à l’Aménagement du Territoire, à l’Habitat et à l’Urbanisme du Premier Ministre du Tchad.
