Under capitalism, education has grown into an instrument of personal growth, pointing out the importance of achievement. In line with this, over the decades, education has evolved toward a tactics, with an emphasis on economic benefit. This transformation poses a fundamental challenge to sustainable education: reconciling personal ambition with the larger necessity for a society where everyone can choose to develop their unique abilities for collective advancement. Ferro Ferizka is an Executive Director at Pijar Foundation, an organization focused on the future of our planet and people. He has 10 years of experience at Microsoft, where he served as the Worldwide Lead for Customer Experience. With a background in business, he graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie University. Currently, he is a Senior Adviser and Team Leader for Digital Transformation on the National Committee at BAPPENAS RI.
