How to climb the ladder to entrepreneurship | Karteek Routh | TEDxGMCJammu
Karteek Routh-an engineer who discovered the perfect blend of technology and medical education. Engineering is all about problem-solving, and what better challenge than making medical exam prep smarter, more efficient, and accessible to every student? In 2020, he co-founded DocTutorials, an online learning platform that brings the precision of engineering to the depth of medical education, helping students prepare for NEET PG, NEET SS, FMGE, INI CET, and INI SS with structured learning, interactive tools, and engaging content.
His journey started with offline coaching centers, working closely with students and faculty to understand what actually makes a difference in exam preparation. He quickly realized that technology wasn't here to replace traditional learning but to enhance it-breaking down complex concepts, improving accessibility, and making study plans more efficient. That's how DocTutorials took shape, bringing together high-quality video lectures, interactive tools, and structured question banks to help students gain a real edge in their preparation.
He’s still at the beginning of his ed-tech journey, figuring out how technology can continue transforming medical education. It's an industry full of experiments, challenges, and constant learning some ideas take off, some evolve, and every step teaches something new.
Beyond work, you'll find him on a sports field, exploring new places, catching a good movie, or just soaking in nature because sometimes, the best ideas happen when you least expect them!
