At UMKC, he advocates for underrepresented communities as Vice President of the Middle East Student Association and Students for Justice in Palestine, organizing educational events, refugee support programs, and local protests and vigils. Fluent in English and Arabic, Mahmoud attempts to brings a global perspective to his work in medicine and education.
