An Nhien’s story begins with authentic moments when she used to feel sad and ashamed of having bad grades at school. Luckily, a game-changer came to her when she tutored a disadvantaged 7th-grade girl, seeing it as a precious opportunity to change her educational perspective. An Nhien wants to spread a message through her personal story: “I hope students who have hung their heads over grades, or teachers who have doubted themselves, can see that mistakes are part of the journey.” For An Nhien, the message is clear: “Let’s build a safe learning environment where everyone can rise and shine from their falls.” An Nhien is a high school student from Hue, Vietnam, who shares her passion for education. She believes that mistakes do not define her but are the guiding light for her growth. She founded a community project “Within Hue”, which aims to preserve and promote her homeland’s culture through education and arts.
