Sapevate che la storia dell’energia è anche una storia di schiavitù?
In questo talk appassionato e provocatorio, Stefano Ceccarelli ci guida in un viaggio attraverso passato, presente e futuro dell’energia, rivelando come la nostra dipendenza dalle fonti fossili non sia solo un problema ambientale, ma una profonda questione etica.
Con uno sguardo lucido e umanistico, ci invita a riflettere su come le fonti fossili abbiano alimentato disuguaglianze, ingiustizie e conflitti. E ci mostra come le energie rinnovabili – pulite, democratiche, accessibili – non siano soltanto una soluzione ecologica, ma una reale opportunità di emancipazione e giustizia.
Dall’energia muscolare degli schiavi dell’antica Roma agli “schiavi energetici” dell’era moderna, questo talk ci accompagna a rileggere la storia con occhi nuovi e a porci una domanda urgente: vogliamo restare prigionieri di un modello violento e insostenibile, o scegliere una via libera, equa e sostenibile?
La transizione energetica non è solo una sfida tecnologica. È – prima di tutto – una rivoluzione etica. Ecologista da sempre, ama definirsi un ambientalista ossessivo-compulsivo.
Nel 2015 dà vita al blog Stop fonti fossili!, con cui cerca di sensibilizzare i lettori sulla gravità dell’emergenza climatica e sull’urgenza della transizione energetica dai combustibili fossili alle fonti rinnovabili. La divulgazione dei temi legati alla crisi ambientale lo vede assiduamente impegnato anche sui social e in incontri pubblici nell’ambito delle iniziative di volontariato promosse da Legambiente.
Animato dalla convinzione che la spinta verso la conversione ecologica nasca da un mix di cuore e intelletto, si cimenta nella scrittura di testi narrativi a sfondo scientifico. Esordisce nel 2016 autopubblicando il racconto fantastico “La buccia della Terra”, a cui fa seguito il romanzo “I Gemelli del Cosmo” (Altromondo Editore, 2019), primo classificato al Premio Ipazia Città di Eboli 2018.
